WARE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

PUBLIC NOTICE
VOLUNTEER DEBRIS CLEANUP

October 2, 2024, at 7:05PM

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints volunteer-led disaster relief program*, will be in the Waycross-Ware County area to help homeowners with post-storm cleanup from Friday, October 4, 2024, through Saturday, October 5, 2024.

If you would like to request assistance with cleaning up your yard debris, please call 912-287-4499. Be prepared to report your name, street address, contact number, and a brief description of the damage. This phone line will be staffed Thursday, October 3, 2024, from 10AM. until 5PM. It will reopen Friday, October4, 2024, from 9AM. to 5PM.

* Please note this is a private, faith-based organization and is not affiliated with the Ware County Board of Commissioners. There is no charge for this service.

Commission Meeting Schedule

Commission Work Sessions and Regular Meetings are typically held every second Monday of each month.

Commission Called Meetings are typically held every fourth Monday of each month (except for November & December, which usually do not have a second set of meetings due to holidays).
